Cleanup racha noi

In February 2020 we organised an impactful cleanup at Racha Noi. This island on the coast of Phuket Island faces a lot of waste washing ashore every day.

Local authorities called for our help: with our 50+ crew of men and women we cleaned up a big beach area separating plastic waste form other waste.

We took the collected waste to a certified recycling factory in Bangkok. The plastic waste was recycled into new plastic flakes that we can use as a resource for our yarns. To make high quality MBRC products again. All contributing to more and more impact.

That is how we close the loop.
